Hare Krishna, dear devotees!
I am delighted to share the wonderful success of Gita Gyan Level 1 – Batch 12, which took place from January 20nd to February 12th, 2025. Every single day, over 500 devotees joined us in this divine journey, eager to deepen their understanding of the Bhagavad Gita.
We had sessions in six languages—English, Telugu, Hindi, Odia, Tamil, and Kannada—with two batches in Kannada and one in each of the other languages. The response was overwhelming, and we received so many heartfelt testimonials from devotees who felt a profound transformation in their spiritual lives.
This journey of Gita Gyan began back in December 2020, during the Covid-19 lockdown, as an effort to spread the divine teachings of Bhagavad Gita far and wide. It was inspired by my beloved Guru Maharaj, His Holiness Jayapataka Swami Maharaja, and guided by His Grace Ankul Keshav Prabhu, the temple president of ISKCON Seshadripuram. This initiative was originally founded by the late His Grace Anandi Jagannath Prabhu, and by Krishna’s mercy,
I have been blessed to continue this mission under the guidance of HG Vrinda Maharani Mataji and HG Mahananda Prabhu. Over the past few years, Gita Gyan has flourished, with 12 batches completed, touching the hearts of thousands of devotees across the world.
What makes Gita Gyan so special? It’s not just about theoretical knowledge. We focus on applying the deep teachings of the Gita in our daily lives. Many devotees who joined us four years ago are still with us today, sharing how these teachings have transformed their spiritual and personal lives. This is what drives me and our entire team to keep going.
This batch was particularly special for a few reasons. First, we launched our very own mobile app, where we delivered the class recordings, making it so much easier for devotees to revisit the lessons and reflect on them at their convenience. Second, we were blessed to have His Holiness Jayapataka Swami Maharaja join us in one of our live classes! What an incredible moment for all of us—it truly made this batch extraordinary. Third, we introduced a new initiative: special Ekadashi classes, where we delve deeper into the spiritual significance of Ekadashi and its connection to the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita.
A heartfelt thank you to HG Anukul Keshav Prabhu for his constant guidance, and to HG Vrinda Maharani Mataji, HG Mahananda Prabhu, and all our mentors for their invaluable support in making this program possible. I also want to extend my deep gratitude to our amazing team of teachers: Sriprada Rangadevi Devi Dasi for Telugu, Premamayi Pooja Devi Dasi for Kannada, Lakshmi Lokeshwari Devi Dasi for Kannada, Surypati Radhakant Das for Odia, Subuddhi Nitai Das for Tamil, and Jayanthi Radhe Mataji for English.
And of course, none of this would be possible without our dedicated Volunteer Team, led by Sreeja Kalyankar Mataji, along with Nithya Ramesh Mataji, Komala Gangiah Mataji, Surekha Prashanth Mataji, Vidhya Narayan Mataji, and Ravindra Kumawat Prabhu. Their tireless efforts ensured that everything ran smoothly, from communications to organizing sessions.
To all the devotees who participated with full enthusiasm—thank you! Your dedication and sincerity are what make this journey so special. We’ve also received some wonderful reviews on Trustpilot, further confirming that Gita Gyan is truly making an impact. For those who want to hear directly from the participants, we have some testimonials in English, Telugu, and Kannada—do check them out!
As we move forward, I encourage everyone to stay in our WhatsApp groups—this is the best way to stay connected and get updates on upcoming programs. Let’s keep walking this path together, applying the divine wisdom of Bhagavad Gita in our lives, and inspiring others to do the same.
Looking forward to seeing you in our future sessions!
Hare Krishna!
Yours in service,
Srihari Sridhara Das
